Nick has spent his entire professional career in the senior living industry, bringing over a decade of experience to Senior Housing Consultants. Nick has served at several senior living operators, most recently as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at a West Coast-based operator managing a business unit with annual revenues exceeding $500 million. With a comprehensive background ranging from finance, analytics and operations, Nick has a proven track record in developing and implementing strategic plans for financial and operational success. Nick demonstrates a deep commitment to enhancing outcomes for senior living communities and the residents who call them home.

Allison Law,  Executive Vice President, graduated with a BA from the University of Iowa. Allison has over 20 years’ experience in the Senior Living Industry, most recently as a Chief Operating Officer with oversight of over 70+ Senior Living Communities throughout the Midwest, where she led the merge of 2 management companies in 3 months. Allison has also spearheaded multiple community transitions of overall operations with change in management companies to change in ownership groups. She has also been very involved in new Senior Living developments from identifying appropriate markets, creation and execution of 3-5 year pro-formas and securing investors. Allison’s area of focus with Senior Housing Consultants is the overall Asset Management for multiple ownership groups and equity groups to ensure superior care for residents, with a profitable return for investors.

Mark Takes,  Vice President of Business Development, is a cofounder of Senior Housing Consultants, Inc. Mark has been a consultant to Developers, contractors, investors, and providers of long-term care, for more than 20 years. He spent ten years as a consultant in the construction industry before entering the realm of senior housing development. Mark’s area of focus are developing client relationships, assisting clients through the Market Assessment, Financial Feasibility, Business Development, and the design and construction phases of their senior housing projects, as well as mentoring SHC staff in project management.

Jared Gevock, Vice President of Asset Protection, graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A in Criminology and Sociology. Jared is an active member with over 20 years of service in the Iowa Army National Guard with multiple deployments in support of contingency operations in the Middle East. Jared has spent the past 13 years in manufacturing focused on Lean Manufacturing utilizing Six Sigma methodology and plant manager responsibilities. Jared’s area of focus will be facility relations and capital expenditure development through detailed asset register development.
